This site was designed to be a place where IT professionals can network with one another to discuss issues involved with supporting IT in a school setting.   In contrast to other sites that deal with Education, Education Techs was designed to contain more technical and less curriculum based content.

Also, schools have unique needs that differ from the corporate world.  Many sites have good technical resources, but many of them lack the experience in doing it in an educational setting.  In addition, some of these sites charge for access to information that is simply a bulletin board forum.  This information may or may not be valuable in helping solve problems.  We don't believe schools should have to pay for this information.  For this reason, Education Techs will never charge for this information.

You, the community, will make this site successful.  The more active the community is, the more information will be contained here.  As a result, more answers will be found here.  We encourage you to provide information that you feel would be valuable for other IT professionals in schools.

We thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit to www.EducationTechs.com.
